The choice of paperboard dictates the entire aesthetic and structural performance of the box. Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS) paperboard features a smooth, clay-coated white surface that reproduces vibrant CMYK photographic graphics, crisp barcodes, and metallic foil stamping with exceptional clarity. Conversely, natural Kraft paperboard offers an unbleached, eco-friendly aesthetic with a raw organic texture and extremely high tear resistance, making it highly popular for organic cosmetics, artisan soaps, and sustainable food products.
The base closure mechanism determines assembly speed and weight capacity. A standard Straight Tuck End (STE) or Reverse Tuck End (RTE) base is suitable for lightweight cosmetics and pharmaceutical tubes. However, for heavier glass bottles or dense food jars, we engineer Crash Lock (Auto-Bottom) cartons. Crash lock bases feature pre-glued interlocking bottom flaps that snap into place instantly when the box is popped open, allowing fulfillment centers to pack heavy products at maximum speed without the base giving way.
